How to Use Efficient Software Effectively: 3 Parts You Must Know (Part Two --Groups)

Create groups

The purpose of Groups is to set up folders containing sets of contacts(events, tasks, diary, notes, sticky notes, passwords, URLs) and sub-contacts(events, tasks, diary, notes, sticky notes, passwords, URLs) so that you can select a particular group to focus on, hiding all the others. These Groups appear as folders in the left panel and you set them up from the top menu Edit/Groups. Also you can right click the blank part around All Contacts(events, tasks, diary, notes, sticky notes, passwords, URLs), and you will see New Group as shown below

Other contacts(events, tasks, diary, notes, sticky notes, passwords, URLs): you can not rename or delete it. the contacts(events, tasks, diary, notes, sticky notes, passwords, URLs) you not assign to which group will exist in this place.

Groups and Categories(here we took tasks module as an example)

Categories enable you to group tasks in the right panel. So for example you could have a Group called Paperwork, a sub-group within paperwork called invoices and then two categories of invoices - "Domestic" and "Business". Then when you create a task called "Electricity" you assign it to Sub-group Invoices with a category of either Domestic or Business.

When you sort the columns in the right panel you can sort by category (double click on the head of the column) so that all the tasks with a group are sorted into their categories.

Customize Current View

This is an important part, after clicking it, a window pops up, you can set the columns by checking them to show in the right panel, or exchange their position to show by using Move Down/Move Up. At the same time, you can set the the parts to show in the right panel, which can be included details and comments.
